The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit & Family Suites
at The Mom’s Place offers state-of-the-art care to meet the distinct needs of newborns born as early as 30 weeks gestation. Families become the primary caregivers of their infants as they collaborate and work alongside the healthcare team.
In collaboration with a team of Dartmouth Health Children’s neonatologists and advanced practice providers, we provide high quality medical expertise to monitor, treat, and care for newborns requiring intensive care.
Conditions & Expertise
Family Integrated Care is a philosophy of care designed to encourage bonding and attachment between parents and their newborns, beginning immediately after birth, and continuing throughout your NICU stay to your journey home. This model of care allows for parents/caregivers to room with their baby 24/7 and be
involved in all aspects of their infant’s care.
