Primary care covers a range of prevention and treatment options for common illnesses and supports patients in maintaining wellness. Primary care providers include doctors, nurses, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants who are prepared to maintain a long-term relationship with you, advising and treating you on a range of health-related issues and concerns. They may also coordinate your care with specialists.
