Medical Weight Loss

If you decide to lose weight without surgery, you'll find many options at the New England Weight Management Institute (NEWMI) at CMC.

NEWMI’s medical weight loss program team is led by physicians board-certified in Obesity Medicine. We use evidence-based non-surgical treatment to help our patients achieve a healthier weight. The comprehensive program includes nutritional, exercise, and behavioral counseling. When appropriate, treatment may include medications that can help with weight loss. We also screen for and address lifestyle factors, medical conditions and medications that can contribute to weight gain.

Our team strives to take an individualized approach, creating a plan for you that is sustainable and effective for long-term weight loss and health.
