When medical emergencies occur, Catholic Medical Center’s Emergency Department (ED) is ready 24 hours a day, seven days a week. CMC’s ED is a full service, state-of-the-art facility that is prepared to treat anyone experiencing a serious acute illness, injury or trauma. We feature 30 treatment rooms equipped with bedside monitoring capabilities, and dedicated areas for trauma, cardiac, stroke, and pediatric patients. Our team of physicians, nurses and other skilled caregivers are equipped to provide expert care and treatment.
CMC’s Emergency Room is verified as a Level III Trauma Center by the American College of Surgeons (ACS). CMC is already designated as a Level III Adult Trauma Center and Level IV Pediatric Trauma Center by the State of New Hampshire. This demonstrates our ability to provide prompt assessment, resuscitation, surgery, intensive care and stabilization of injured patients. In addition to 24-hour coverage by emergency medicine physicians and general surgeons, CMC can transfer patients requiring more comprehensive care to a Level I or Level II Trauma Center.
If you or someone you know is experiencing an emergency always call 911 first.
