John Whiting was due for a follow up appointment for an aneurysm. With the precautions CMC is taking due to COVID-19, his appointment was moved from the hospital to CMC’s Vein & Vascular Specialists in Bedford. “I cannot say enough about what a great time I had at Vein & Vascular,” he says. First of all, it was easy to get to. The staff was incredible—they even got me a cup of coffee when I arrived! By the end of my visit, they felt like family.” Dr. Patricia Furey, Director of Vascular Services at CMC, explains “He came here because we decided it was safer and easier for patients like John to be seen at an offsite practice, away from the hospital. He really liked the experience of coming here. It was quiet, easy to park and right off the highway. He also got on very well with the staff!” Overall, Whiting could not have been more pleased. “The whole experience from beginning to end was wonderful. I can’t wait to go back.”
