SARAH BASCLE, MD is a Natural Family Planning Medical Consultant trained in NaProTECHNOLOGY. She received her medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine after completing undergraduate studies at the University of Notre Dame. Her residency program through Phoenix Integrated Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology allowed her to care for a diverse patient population while also receiving training in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, including da Vinci robotic assisted surgery. She is fluent in Spanish and is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the Catholic Medical Association.

Dr. Bascle is a native New Englander who now resides in New Hampshire with her young family. She’s the proud wife of Nick Bascle and mom to Liam and Clare. Her personal interests include reading, skiing, and watching English Premier League soccer with her husband. “If we do a potluck, I'll have my husband cook for us. I used to cook, but then became an ob/gyn resident!”

CHRISTY ABERG, CNM/ARPN is a certified nurse midwife with nearly 15 years of clinical experience. She received an undergraduate degree from Hamilton College, her BSN/RN from the University of Pennsylvania and her MS/CNM from the University of Washington. In addition to her experience in maternal health, Christy spent three years as an oncology nurse. She is especially passionate about helping women through their pregnancy, childbirth, and breastfeeding journey, supporting women who are experiencing infertility, and educating families about adolescent health.

Christy recently relocated to New Hampshire from the Seattle area with her husband and two young children. She enjoys the outdoors in all seasons, yoga, and road trips. “My favorite moments are spent with my husband, five year old son and three year old daughter.”

NANCY MALO, CFCP is a Certified Fertility Care™ Practitioner. She received her training at Creighton University School of Medicine, Division of Allied Health with advanced studies through the Pope Paul VI Institute for the Study of Human Reproduction in Omaha, Nebraska. She is a charter member of the American Academy of Fertility Care Professionals, and is also a member of the following professional organizations: New Hampshire Guild of Catholic Healthcare Professionals, the International Institute for Restorative Reproductive Medicine and the American Association of Pro-Life Obstetricians.

As Program Coordinator for Catholic Medical Center’s Fertility Care Education Services, Nancy has been involved in the field of reproductive education for more than 35 years. Her expertise includes natural fertility management and human sexuality education from a holistic perspective. Through education, she seeks to empower women to be better advocates of their own reproductive care. Her focus is to provide women with a healthy alternative to standard reproductive care through the use of the Fertility CareTM System, and NaProTECHNOLOGY, a science that avoids the use of chemicals or devices and works to identify the underlying causes of reproductive disorders. She emphasizes respect for the dignity of women and for the gift of human sexuality.

Married, mother of four, grandmother of five, Nancy enjoys spending time with family and making frequent escapes to the White Mountains with her husband Bob. Her interests include kayaking, quilting, reading, baking and most anything that enriches family life. She is a parishioner of Sts. Mary and Joseph Catholic community in Salem, NH.

AMANDA SOARES, RN, BSN, FCP has been a practicing nurse for six years and comes to the Womens Wellness & Fertility Center from the Emergency Department at CMC. She earned her BSN from Franciscan University of Steubenville, where she minored in Theology, and is currently enrolled in the MSN program at Rivier University. Amanda is a FertilityCare Practitioner with an interest in NaProTECHNOLOGY, treating infertility, and emergency nursing.

Amanda loves to cook, travel, and spend time with her husband.

CHRISTINE MCKENNEY RN, BSN, CLC has been a nurse at CMC since 2010, and has worked on The Mom’s Place and Special Care Nursery at CMC for the last four years. She holds a BSN from the University of New Hampshire. She is certified as a lactation counselor, Childlight Yoga instructor and GLOW Prenatal Yoga instructor and is working towards obtaining her Birthing from Within Mentor Certification. Christine is particularly interested in lactation support, postpartum care, perinatal and family education, and neonatal intensive care.

Christine lives in southern New Hampshire with her young son, husband, and their dog. She enjoys experimenting in the kitchen, being outdoors, traveling, nutrition, teaching, trying new restaurants, and “anything and everything related to holistic wellness!”

NICOLE PENDENZA, BSN, RNC-NIC is the Director of Maternal, Child and Women's Health at CMC, overseeing The Mom’s Place, Special Care Nursery, and the Women’s Wellness and Fertility Center. She holds a BS in Nursing from Fitchburg State University, a BS in Biology from Salem State University and is pursuing a Masters of Nursing Leadership. She also is certified in Neonatal Intensive Care. Over her two decades of experience, Nicole has developed a dedication to creating a family centered environment for pregnancy, birth and high risk neonatal care, supporting pregnant women and their infant with Substance Use Disorder, and promoting breastfeeding.

In her free time, Nicole enjoys traveling, visiting the beach, and spending time with her husband and two sons.

CRYSTAL FORTIN RN, BSN has been a nurse at CMC for 15 years and was most recently the Practice Manager at Willowbend Family Practice, honored by the Union Leader Reader’s Choice Awards for Best Doctor’s Office four years in a row. She earned her BSN from the University of New Hampshire and would like to become a Certified FertilityCare™ Practitioner.

Crystal is a New Hampshire native who enjoys cooking, hiking, yoga and spending time with her daughter at the beach.

DANIELLE JULIANELLO is a patient service representative with four years of experience in the CMC family. She holds a degree in Applied Animal Science from the University of New Hampshire and comes to the Women’s Wellness and Fertility Center from CMC’s Willowbend Family Practice.

Danielle’s interests include photography, outdoor fitness and spending time with her husband, son, and Siberian husky puppy.
