cmc providers
At Catholic Medical Center, health, healing and hope have been the foundation of our mission for over 100 years. The safety of our patients, staff and community remains our highest priority, and challenges like the COVID-19 pandemic reinforce our commitment to caring for every individual who seeks our care.

Here, you’ll find the most up-to-date information about what comes next for CMC and you – the steps we’re taking to help keep you safe, what you can expect when accessing care from us, and what you can do to protect you and those around you.

If you already have a CMC Primary Care Provider and have COVID-19 symptoms, please contact your primary care office to arrange a test.
If you do not have a CMC Primary Care Provider at this time and are in need of a COVID-19 test, please consider getting tested at our partner sites: ClearChoiceMD–CMC Urgent Care–GoffstownClearChoiceMD–CMC Urgent Care–Hooksett; or schedule and appointment at one of the City of Manchester’s testing clinics

Ready to Care for you

To care for you we've:

  • Dedicated separate care areas for patients who have COVID-19 symptoms
  • Separated COVID-19 and non-COVID-19 patients in isolated inpatient nursing units
  • Rearranged our lobby & seating areas to help maintain social distancing and/or having patients wait in their cars
  • Modified our registration process to reduce your contact with others
  • Placed safe distance markers on floor at waiting and check in areas
  • Enhanced our frequent and vigorous cleaning and disinfecting procedures of high-touch, public surface areas in the hospital and outpatient practices

Screening & Testing

We're actively:
  • Screening patients prior to appointments for COVID-19 symptoms
  • Enforcing our masking policy—all staff are wearing face masks and asking you to wear one too
  • Limiting entry and exit points
  • Have temporary visitor restrictions
  • Testing patients for COVID-19 prior to surgery
  • Testing patients for COVID-19 prior to colonoscopies
  • Continuously monitoring the health of our staff
  • Using virtual care when available and appropriate

What you can do

You can help by:

  • Avoiding potential exposure to COVID-19 and quarantining ahead of your surgery or procedure
  • Wearing a mask in the community and at CMC and our outpatient practices
  • Adhering to all social distancing cues and reading all posted signs
  • Letting us know if you have any COVID-19 symptoms (fever, cough, shortness of breath, sudden onset of fatigue, or the sudden loss of smell or taste)
  • Washing your hands frequently and use hand sanitizer particularly upon entry and exit. Dispensers are available throughout the hospital and outpatient practices.
