CMC's Paul Mertzic Receives Community Leadership Award

(Manchester, NH) - Congratulations to CMC’s Director of Community Health and Mission, Paul Mertzic, for receiving the 2017 Community Leadership Award from the Mental Health Center of Greater Manchester.

The award was given Monday night. The program quoted from the nomination letter, “’People would describe Paul to be knowledgeable, hardworking compassionate, caring, collaborative and most importantly, humble. He is a great example of a servant leader – never expecting others to do what he himself is unwilling to do.’”

Paul has been a nurse and healthcare leader in Manchester for forty years and has served on the boards of many community organizations, including: On the Road to Wellness, New Horizons, Makin’ it Happen, Granite United Way, Healthy Manchester Leadership Council, and others.

According to the Mental Health Center of Greater Manchester, the Community Leadership Award honors, “business or community leaders who exemplify the leadership and commitment needed to build and support a caring and healthy community…”

Congratulations, Paul! We are proud to have you as a member of the CMC team!
