The New England Heart Institute provides inpatient and outpatient cardiology services to Dartmouth-Hitchcock
patients in Manchester and Nashua. We also collaborate with community hospitals throughout New Hampshire, serving patients from approximately 100 communities. Our board-certified cardiologists consult with primary care physicians at community hospitals and see patients during scheduled visits to the hospitals each month. We make every effort to see patients promptly. Occasionally, the office physician receives a call to treat an emergency patient. This may cause office delays. We will let you know of any unexpected change in scheduling.
It is important to continue seeing your primary care physician for general health care maintenance. We do not provide primary care, but do work closely with your primary care physician. If you do not have a primary care doctor, we are happy to recommend one for you. Emergencies After Hours
Our physicians are available 24 hours a day for emergencies. Our answering service will forward your message to the on-call cardiologist. However, if you are having chest pain or severe shortness of breath, call 911 and go to the nearest hospital emergency room.
