The New England Heart Institute has launched the Heart Valve Clinic to provide a multidisciplinary approach for the evaluation of patients with heart valve disease. Our CMC team of board certified cardiologists, cardiac surgeons and radiologists collaborate to offer treatment options for patients with heart valve disease.

This exciting new program includes the evaluation of patients with valvular heart disease who are considered high risk or too high risk to undergo open heart surgery. A new procedure called Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement, or TAVR, allows patients with severe aortic valve stenosis to have their valve replaced without the need for open heart surgery.

For more information about The Heart Valve Clinic or TAVR, contact New England Heart Institute at 603.669.0413.
