Ms. Petrin earned a diploma in nursing from Sacred Heart Hospital School of Nursing and an undergraduate degree in nursing from the University of New Hampshire, Durham, graduating magna cum laude. She earned a master of science degree in family nurse practice from Rivier College, graduating with high distinction. Prior to joining the New England Heart Institute, Ms. Petrin was a critical care educator at Catholic Medical Center for 24 years and also served as adjunct faculty at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and at Rivier College. Ms. Petrin is an active member of the New Hampshire Nurses’ Association. She is an active volunteer for the American Heart Association and has been appointed ACLS National Faculty for the Northern New England Region, and she is a member of the New Hampshire Nurse Practitioner Association. She has been honored with several awards of distinction for her nursing expertise and is a published contributing author in a nursing textbook and a textbook of ECG rhythm interpretation.
