Parasomnia is a sleep disorder that involves abnormal and unnatural movements, behaviors, emotions and perceptions. This can include confusional arousals, sleep walking, sleep (night) terrors and sleep related eating disorders. Improved sleep can enhance your overall health. The New England Sleep Center at CMC is accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. Our board certified team of sleep physicians, neurologists, respiratory care practitioners, and registered sleep technicians utilize state-of-the-art equipment in order to effectively diagnose and treat parasomnia.

Peripheral Vascular Disease (PVD) refers to the obstruction of large arteries not within the coronary, aortic arch vasculature, or brain. CMC's Surgical Care Group physicians, physician assistants and helpful support staff will guide you through your PVD treatment. Our physicians have over 50 years of combined experience in general, vascular, bariatric, advanced laparoscopic, endovascular, breast, colon, endocrine, and venous surgery. The Surgical Care Group’s ICAVL-Accredited vascular laboratory provides non-invasive evaluation and diagnosis with same-day test results.

Phlebitis, also (Thrombophlebitis) is swelling or inflammation of a vein caused by a blood clot. The Outpatient Diabetes Resource Institute at Catholic Medical Center is one of New Hampshire’s finest community resources; dedicated to the education, prevention, and support of patients diagnosed with diabetes or pre-diabetes. Our certified diabetes educators work with you, your primary care provider, and/or your endocrinologist to assess blood glucose trends and develop a nutrition and exercise plan to help you manage your diabetes. The Outpatient Diabetes Resource Institute is proud to be recognized by the American Diabetes Association (ADA) since 2000 for meeting and exceeding National Standards of Diabetes Self-Management Training.

Pressure Ulcer

 
 
A pressure ulcer is an area of skin that breaks down when something keeps rubbing or pressing against the skin. The Comprehensive Wound Healing Center has a state-of-the-art facility and five physicians covering specialties such as podiatry, vascular, plastic, and general wound healing. We have expertise in healing ulcers, including pressure ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, and venous stasis ulcers, as CMC handles over 3,000 patient visits for ulcers each year. We also provide nutritional education, psychosocial support, and referrals to appropriate healthcare professionals to ensure patients receive the best care.
