“I started my career at CMC as a bedside nurse and became a preceptor for new nurses. I still perform charge nurse role and am involved in a number of committees–which I enjoy. In 2021, I was asked to be the Clinical Education Specialist on the Cardiac Medical Unit. This role has allowed for continuous professional development. I have attained specialty certification (PCCN) and am now an AHA instructor. I’m also working toward a Master of Science in Nursing Education at Rivier University. CMC’s tuition reimbursement program is helping to make this possible. I credit CMC for providing many career growth opportunities since I started here in 2010.”
