Gastric Sleeve

Gastric sleeve (sleeve gastrectomy) surgery is a procedure that will remove about 80% of your stomach. During this procedure, the surgeon creates a sleeve-shaped stomach about the size of a small banana. The gastric sleeve significantly reduces stomach capacity, while maintaining the nutritional absorptive capabilities of the small intestine.
