Veteran's Support

Caring for our Veterans: A priority for Catholic Medical Center

Across the country there is a significant need to ensure care for our veterans—the men and women who’ve served us through time in the military. Ensuring compassionate, respectful health care for our military members and service veterans is about more than giving them comprehensive benefits—it’s about removing barriers, cutting red tape, providing all the specialty care they might need, and understanding the challenges veterans face.

Catholic Medical Center has been working for some time to figure out how best to provide veterans greater access to care with less hassle. With veteran employees and providers throughout CMC, we understand the sacrifices service members have made and some of the unique needs they have.

In the military, no one goes it alone. Everyone on the team has a role to play to ensure survival and success. At CMC, we believe the same approach applies to veteran health care and we are proud to be leading the effort for New Hampshire veterans.

WHY CHOOSE CMC

COMMUNITY BASED CARE COORDINATION

CMC works with the Manchester VA Medical Center (VAMC) to coordinate care for services that aren't available at the VAMC, under the VA insurance plan. CMC advocates for timely, high-quality care for veterans without red tape.

Manchester VA at CMC

CMC is working with the Manchester VA Medical Center (VAMC) for a better-integrated system of  services, using resources that exist today, to provide medical, behavioral, and social support to veterans. Currently, CMC provides the space for VA doctors to perform endoscopies and other same-day procedures at our facility at 100 McGregor Street.

EasterSeals’ Military & Veterans Services
