CMC Behavioral Health ProgramsIntensive Outpatient Stabilization Program
This program is designed for individuals 18 years of age and older and offers an alternative to or transition from inpatient hospitalization. It also can enhance more traditional individual outpatient therapy. Services include group therapies, lifestyle education, skill building and psychopharmacologic management. The program is focused on patient wellness and is designed to promote stabilization and improved ability to function.
This outpatient stabilization program is staffed by a coordinator, licensed clinical social worker, advanced registered nurse practitioner and psychiatrists. Outpatient Medication Management and Counseling Program
The Outpatient Medication and Counseling Program offers patients evaluation, assessment, psychopharmacologic management and treatment of a broad range of psychiatric disorders. Two psychiatrists, an advanced registered nurse practitioner and a licensed clinical social worker staff the program.
The Outpatient Counseling Program assists individuals needing help with personal changes, stress, anxiety or other life challenges. Cognitive behavioral therapy helps individuals identify issues in their lives and develop skills to change behaviors.This specialized therapy is provided by Gary Rainey, LICSW. Gary utilizes his extensive experience working with adults, couples, and families to treat anxiety, phobias, mood disorders, and relationship issues.

Psychiatric Emergency Services Program
For individuals needing emergency psychiatric services, CMC and The Mental Health Center of Greater Manchester (The MHCGM) have a collaborative agreement that provides for psychiatric assessment and response by licensed mental health clinicians from The MHCGM, 24 hours a day, seven days a week at Catholic Medical Center’s Emergency Department.
