Becoming a Volunteer
We are very proud of the hundreds of volunteers who provide time, talent, and that “special touch” for patients, visitors, staff and physicians of Catholic Medical Center. Our volunteers are true partners in caring. Interested in becoming a volunteer?
It’s easy to apply. Simply follow these steps:3. Criminal Record Check -
1. Application & References - Complete our “Application for Volunteer Service” and submit two “Reference Forms” to Catholic Medical Center Volunteer Resources Department. Click here to begin the application process.
2. Interview - Once we have received and accepted your references, we will contact you to schedule an interview with the Volunteer Resources Director. The interview will cover your interests and preferences, and give you a chance to share your ideas and learn about potential assignments. An additional interview with your potential supervisor may be offered so you can review duties, receive an overview of the department, and meet other volunteers and staff.
The Volunteer Department performs a criminal record check on every new volunteer. Therefore, at the time of your interview the Volunteer Department will provide you with the form to complete and will notarize and mail in into the NH State Police at no expense to you.
4. Health Screening -
Just like other CMC staff, volunteers follow guidelines for safety and infection control. Our Employee Health Department will assist with necessary paperwork, Tuberculosis tests, and other general evaluations. This is provided at times convenient to your schedule and at no expense to you.
5. Orientation -
We want volunteers to become part of the CMC family as quickly as possible. Our orientation process provides the basics of volunteering, what to wear, where to park, where to sign in and out, as well as important information about policies and traditions. It’s fun!
Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Catholic Medical Center. We look forward to working with you.
