Caring for Mom’s and Babies with heart…10 years of progress thanks to community support

The 2014 Catholic Medical Center Gala Event will be held on Friday, October 17, 2014 at the Manchester Country Club.  This elegant fundraising event is held each year to benefit the Maternal Health Services programs offered at Catholic Medical Center.  Since its inception, community support from this event has totaled over $1.5 million.  Donations have been used to provide prenatal care for uninsured women, assist in the creation of the CMC Special Care Nursery and purchase training equipment for a childbirth simulation lab.

Ronald H. Covey, Jr., Chief Executive Officer of St. Mary’s Bank has agreed to lead the philanthropic efforts of this year’s event. According to Dr. Joseph Pepe, President of Catholic Medical Center, “We are pleased to have the opportunity to work with such community minded business leaders while raising funds for such an important cause.”

Gary Bouchard, Ph.D, Professor of English at St. Anselm’s College will present the Eighth Annual Charles F. Whittemore Award in honor of Charlie Whittemore, a retired long time Catholic Medical Center Board member, to Ronald Rioux, Vice Chancellor of the Community College System of NH.  Ron will be presented this award in honor of his commitment to Catholic Medical Center, his philanthropic spirit and the impact his generosity has made on the lives of countless people and organizations.

For sponsorship information or to purchase tickets ($175 per person) please call the CMC Development Office at 603-663-6056 or email kdegen@cmc-nh.org.  Seating is limited and reservations must be made in advance.  No tickets will be available at the door.
