For over 100 years, Catholic Medical Center, a member of GraniteOne Health, has been fulfilling its mission of providing health, healing and hope to the people of New Hampshire. I am honored to serve as President and CEO of this organization and as CEO of GraniteOne Health. As one of New Hampshire’s largest healthcare organizations and the only community hospital with a state-wide reach, CMC is committed to our vision of becoming the finest customer experience, lowest cost and best outcome provider in the region.
CMC’s commitment to improving the patient’s care and experience is demonstrated by our innovation milestones and our recognitions for quality and patient satisfaction.
In today’s turbulent healthcare environment, we also need to find new ways of collaborating and increasing access to high-quality care while keeping costs in check. We do this through our many affiliations throughout the state and region. To help in this transition, CMC, Huggins Hospital and Monadnock Community Hospital formed GraniteOne Health. We're now seeking to increase access to high-quality health care in New Hampshire by deepening our clinical affiliation with Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health and combining to form Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health GraniteOne. Through the partnership Granite Health, Catholic Medical Center is also an equity partner in the Tufts Health Freedom Plan.
CMC has also been focused on growing and enhancing our services. We have a Patient Transfer Center that large hospital systems are looking to model. We continue to expand our cardiac, vascular and bariatric (weight loss) services throughout the state, and are embracing telemedicine as a way to remove barriers to excellent care. We are proud of our continued collaborative spirit with critical access hospitals throughout the state to focus on improving the quality of care available to their patients and the communities they serve. It is clear why CMC was awarded Healthcare Business of the Year in 2015 by Business NH Magazine.
It is with great pride that I share these efforts and thank you for your continued support in our organization.
