Local franchises raise $10,000 for CMC fund

Thousands of cups of coffee produced a check presentation Tuesday at Catholic Medical Center (CMC), where Andrade Management Group (AMG) gave $10,000 to the hospital’s Hope and Healing Fund. AMG owns 16 Manchester and Nashua area Dunkin’ Donuts stores. Between November 18th and the 26th, patrons at these stores were able add a donation to CMC’s Hope and Healing Fund onto their purchase.
The nine day campaign raised $7,200 from patrons, with the Andrade family donating an additional $2,800. CMC’s Hope and Healing Fund supports patients in need of medical equipment, medications, or other items to help in their recuperation.

“Dunkin’ Donuts is more than a coffee shop. It, like CMC, is a community institution,” said Jennifer Higgins Pitre, CMC’s Vice President of Philanthropy. “We’re so thankful that Andrade Management Group partnered with us for this campaign and that so many customers took that extra minute and extra dollar to donate.”
“People don’t often think of all of the expenses that go along with recovering from an illness or injury,” said Kevin Andrade, Franchisee. “At this time of year, especially, it’s heartening to see the support of this community to help families heal and be together.”
