Francis Albert McMahon made his debut at 5:11 AM

Weighing in at 8 pounds 13 ounces and measuring 21 inches, Francis McMahon was cause for celebration early this morning as CMC’s first birth of 2017. Baby Francis was born at The Mom’s Place at 5:11 AM. He is cuddling comfortably with parents Caitlyn and Mike McMahon of Marlow, who are smitten to start the New Year with this addition to their family.

“He was due December 23rd, so we told our two other boys that Santa was bringing their baby brother for Christmas,” laughed mom Caitlyn. Dad Mike explained, “We had to tell our oldest son that Santa forgot, so we had to drive to the North Pole to pick the baby up.”

“Every birth is an amazing experience,” said Alyson Bergeron, BSN, RNC-OB, Clinical Nurse Manager at The Mom’s Place, “but the first baby of the New Year always has a unique excitement around it.”

Baby Francis is the McMahons’ third son. He joins older brothers William, 2 ½, and Henry, 15 months.
