New Members to Lead CMC’s 2016 Projects and Proposed Affiliations
Catholic Medical Center proudly announces the addition of four new members to its 2016 Board of Directors. The appointments made on January 28 include:
Robert A Catania, MD—The Surgical Care Group, Catholic Medical Center
Carolyn Claussen, MD—Willowbend Family Practice, Catholic Medical Center
Jeannette Davila—Executive Vice President, Head of Corporate Services, Fedcap
Pamela Diamantis—Partner, Curbstone Financial Management Corp.
Thomas J. Kleeman, MD—Founder, New Hampshire Spine Institute
Donald St. Germain—Chief Lending Officer, St. Mary’s Bank
“These talented men and women will assist our hospital in what we hope will be a year of expanded services and new affiliations with neighboring community hospitals,” explains Maria Mongan, Chair of the Board of Directors for CMC. “Their experience, business savvy and fresh perspective will be critical additions to our goal of providing quality health care with value.”
Robert A Catania, MD is a general surgeon with The Surgical Care Group at Catholic Medical Center as well as the surgical director of the CMC Obesity Treatment Center. While serving on active duty in the US Navy Medical Corps, he completed a fellowship in minimally invasive and bariatric surgery at the University of Maryland. Since completing his military service in 2009, Dr. Catania has been an active member of the Catholic Medical Center staff. He is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgeons.
Carolyn Claussen, MD has been a practicing family physician in Bedford, New Hampshire since 1999. She has been at CMC’s “award winning” Willowbend Family Practice, which was named the Union Leader’s Best Doctor’s Office for three years running (2013-2015), since January 2006. Dr Claussen sees the full spectrum of patients, from newborns in the hospital to the elderly. As part of CMC’s physician practices, she serves on the EMR Optimization Committee as well as the Physician Compensation Committee.
Jeannette Davila, Executive Vice President, Head of Corporate Services, joined Fedcap in August, 2013. Ms. Davila oversees core organizational functions including Human Resources, Information Technology, Real Estate and Facilities Management, Project Management, Administrative Services, Communications, Marketing and Business Development. Ms. Davila has more than 25 years of banking experience. A native of Puerto Rico, bilingual speaker and dedicated community leader, Ms. Davila has served as Vice Chairman of the Easter Seals NH Board of Directors, and worked with many other New England-based community organizations.
Pamela Diamantis, Partner, Curbstone Financial Management Corp.. Pamela joined Curbstone Financial in July of 2006. Prior to that, she had served as the Regional President for U.S. Trust Company, N.A. in New Hampshire and is the former President of State Street Bank & Trust Company of NH. She has over 25 years of investment management experience and fiduciary expertise. Pamela specializes in servicing the total wealth management needs for high net worth individuals and not-for-profit organizations. She is a dedicated volunteer and currently serves as the Chairman of the University System of NH Board of Trustees and holds board positions with the Currier Museum of Art, the Greater Manchester YMCA.
Thomas J. Kleeman, MD, founder of the New Hampshire Spine Institute, known today as the New Hampshire NeuroSpine Institute. He received his degree from Yale University School of Medicine, completed internship and residency programs at Yale New Haven Hospital and is fellowship trained in spine surgery from the University of Maryland Medical System. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the North American Spine Society and the New England Spine Society.
Donald St. Germain, Chief Lending Officer at St. Mary’s Bank. He has over 30 years of banking experience and is responsible for the Commercial Lending, Residential Lending, Retail Branch Production, and the Collection department. Don is also responsible for regulatory matters and loan policy. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Greater Manchester YMCA, Manchester Rotary, Manchester Development Corp and has volunteered for the New Hampshire Business and Industry Association (BIA), Granite United Way, and the Manchester Chamber of Commerce Downtown Committee. He has a Master of Business Administration degree from Southern New Hampshire University and undergraduate Business degree from the University of New Hampshire.
