Expert Surgical Care of Women’s Health
If you have a gynecology issue that requires surgery or a diagnostic procedure, the gynecology surgical staff at Catholic Medical Center is highly skilled in performing these procedures using the latest techniques and technologies. We work closely with you in planning your surgery and answering your questions, so you feel informed and more comfortable as you prepare for your procedure. Some of the gynecology surgical procedures that we perform include:
  • Diagnostic and procedural hysteroscopy
  • Hysterectomy
  • Dilatation and curettage for tissue evaluation
  • Pelvic floor repair surgery
  • Prolapsed uterus procedure
  • Bladder suspension procedure

A diagnostic and procedural hysteroscopy can help us assess a gynecology health issue such as menorrhagia, excessive uterine bleeding, as well as remove benign and malignant uterine tumors. We perform hysterectomies vaginally, laparoscopically and with the da Vinci® Intuitive Surgical Robotics System. Minimally invasive surgical techniques can reduce bleeding and speed your recovery.

In accordance with the Ethical and Religious Directives for Catholic Healthcare Organizations, Catholic Medical Center does not perform elective sterilization procedures.
