Frequently Asked Questions

What is the admission criteria and process?
Patients are referred to the RMU by a health care provider. You must require and be able to complete three hours per day of intensive therapies (Occupational, Physical and/or Speech) and need close medical oversight.

Why choose RMU for your acute rehabilitation stay?
We are dedicated to remaining current with all the latest trends and findings in each therapy discipline. Our unit has a high nurse to patient ratio and we practice primary nursing. Our nurses become acquainted with both the patients and their family, while developing an individualized care plan. We are located in a leading acute care hospital with board certified physicians in a variety of disciplines. Let us assist in making your transition home a smooth and safe experience.
