Overweight women at doctor's office

Revisional Surgery

Revisional surgery is available for patients who have had a prior weight loss surgery and have experienced either a complication or were unsuccessful with long term weight management.

CMC's New England Weight Management Institute has extensive experience managing patients with a prior history of adjustable gastric band placement who have developed band related complications or either did not lose sufficient weight or developed weight regain. We also frequently manage patients who have developed complications such as strictures, reflux, ulcers, or fistula. Additionally, patients who had unsatisfactory weight loss results from sleeve gastrectomy may qualify for revision to an alternative weight loss procedure.
