Infusion Therapy

Infusion therapy allows patients to safely receive a medication intravenously, through injections or in an epidural (injected into spinal cord membranes). It may be used for antibiotic treatment, cancer treatments, as a means of managing dehydration, gastrointestinal disorders and many other applications. It is often prescribed when a patient’s condition is severe and cannot be treated effectively with oral medications.

The CMC Infusion Suite at Dartmouth Cancer Center allows you to receive the best treatment close to home. Our team works in collaboration with your physician and specialists on your care.
