CT Scan

CMC is at the forefront of advanced diagnostic medical imaging. CT (computed tomography) scans are an essential tool for diagnosing and assessing various medical conditions. Our equipment is located close to our Emergency Department, which is especially important for the rapid treatment of trauma and stroke. From cardiology, neurology, and oncology to musculoskeletal, emergency, and trauma needs, breakthrough image quality helps clinicians diagnose and treat some of the most challenging health conditions faster than ever before. Our CT maging equipment includes:

  • GE Revolution Apex 256 slice CT scanner. This 4D imaging technology offers patients a better experience—higher quality imaging, less radiation exposure, faster scan times, and more room in the scanner. The Revolution has a weight capacity of 675 lbs and an 80cm opening. CMC is proud to be the first hospital in New Hampshire to offer this state-of-the-art CT imaging technology to our patients.

  • Siemens Force 256-slice scanner that allows for dramatically lower scan times, reduced radiation exposure, and the need for intravenous contrast media. The scanner can scan a person from head to toe in less than two seconds. The scanner can also “freeze” motion, which allows imaging of small structures at high resolution. The Force has a weight capacity of 675 lbs with a 78 cm opening.
