Imaging Services

CMC is proud to be recognized by the American College of Radiology (ACR) as a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence (BICOE). The ACR recognizes the dedication of BICOE recipients to improving women’s health through participation in rigorous quality assurance programs. Additionally, the following breast imaging services: mammography, stereotactic breast biopsy and breast ultrasound are ACR accredited.

The American College of Radiology CT accreditation program involves submission of clinical and phantom images, dose measurements and scanning protocols. Accreditation is required for providers that bill for CT under part B of the Medicare Physician Fee Schedule.
 

The Radiology Department at CMC is designated as an American College of Radiology (ACR) accredited Lung Cancer Screening Center. This means you can be assured that the technologists, equipment and physicians providing your care have met and exceeded stringent guidelines.
 

The American College of Radiology MRI accreditation program evaluates staff qualifications, quality control, MR safety policies and image quality. Accreditation is required for providers that bill for MRI under part B of the Medicare Physician Fee Schedule.

The American College of Radiology Ultrasound accreditation program involves the acquisition of clinical images, submission of relevant physician reports corresponding to clinical images submitted, and quality control documentation.
