Effective 12 Noon, Saturday, March 14th, Catholic Medical Center will be restricting all visitors to the hospital under a temporary no visitation policy. We’re taking this measure to protect our patients and employees from the spread of and potential exposure to coronavirus (COVID-19). In addition to this temporary visitation policy, we are suspending all fitness classes and most community education classes and group sessions through the end of the month. 3/12/2020 - CMC Implements Screening at Hospital Entrances
Effective 12 Noon, Friday, March 13th, Catholic Medical Center will be screening all patients and visitors who come to the hospital. In addition, we are limiting access points to the front entrance and the sky bridge. Anyone coming to the hospital can expect to be asked about whether they have a fever and cough. Symptomatic patients coming for an appointment or procedure will be addressed on a case by case basis. Any visitor who reports symptoms will be asked to leave. The measures are out of an abundance of caution to help protect CMC patients and employees, as well as the public. Out of respect for the CMC community, we are asking friends and family of hospital patients to be our partners and help us limit the potential exposure to coronavirus (COVID-19). Please minimize, whenever possible, the number of people visiting a patient and make sure those visitors are healthy. Visiting hours are also being restricted for the time being from 8 AM—8 PM.
