Congratulations to long-time CMC partner and friend, Dr. Michael Murphy, who has retired after a long and distinguished career. Dr. Murphy was a well-respected primary care and GI physician for many years with an office in the Medical Office Building. He closed that practice in 2018 and joined NH Gastroenterology. His patients were loyal and he was dedicated to them as a doctor and as a leader in the community. Dr. Murphy, a member of the Manchester Central High School Class of 1967, was the undefeated quarterback of Little Green’s 1966 state championship team. He went on to serve as the long time team physician, football coach, and chairman of Central’s Hall of Fame committee (he was also an inductee in 2000). Good work, Mike, and enjoy this very well deserved retirement!
