Hospitalists are providers who specialize in caring for you while you're in the hospital. Please note: You cannot directly schedule appointments with them. These providers manage a patient's care and coordinate specialists, as needed, throughout their entire hospital stay, from admission until discharge when a patient's care is resumed by their primary care provider. Hospitalists have completed training and have experience managing complex and urgent medical conditions.
