High-quality diagnostic images provide your physician with the tools and information needed to provide the best care for you. If your physician has requested imaging, our goal is to provide quality images and procedures, with a minimum of discomfort and using the lowest dose possible. Our certified technologists, registered nurses and experienced support staff provide technologically advanced care with compassion and professionalism.

The Diagnostic Imaging (Radiology) Department at Catholic Medical Center offers a complete range of state-of-the-art diagnostic exams and therapeutic services:

-Digital mammography/3D
-Digital radiology/fluoroscopy
-Interventional radiology
-Nuclear medicine/molecular imaging/ PET Imaging
-Ultrasound & oncology
-Digital bone densitometry (DEXA)
-MRI

Our board-certified radiologists offer expertise in a number of subspecialties and perform an array of procedures, including:

-Angiography and venography
-Angioplasty and stent placement
-Uterine fibroid embolization
-Kyphoplasty
-Pain control
-CT and ultrasound-guided biopsies

The Radiology Department at Catholic Medical Center is proud to announce that we are now designated as a Lung Cancer Screening Center.

Check with your primary care provider to learn if you are eligible for a Low Dose Cat Scan (CT) Exam for lung cancer.

To qualify you typically need to meet all of these requirements:
-Between the ages of 55 and 77
-No signs or symptoms of lung cancer
-Have a *30 pack year history or greater of smoking
* Pack years are calculated by the average number of packs smoked per day times the number of years you -have smoked.
-Currently a smoker, or have quit smoking within the last 15 years

Your primary care provider will discuss your quitting options and provide you with an order for the lung screening.
