Commitment
Catholic Medical Center invests a considerable amount of time and resources into the screening, placement, and training of its volunteers and in return we ask that volunteers commit to a minimum of six months to a year of service.
Training and Education
All necessary training and education for each volunteer assignment will be provided by either a staff member or an experienced volunteer in the assigned department.
Uniform and Identification
Volunteers will be issued a volunteer uniform and a photo I.D. Badge that must be worn at all times while volunteering. Each volunteer is responsible for maintaining their own uniform in a clean and neat condition, and for remembering to bring their uniform and I.D. Badge with them on their scheduled volunteer day. Other specifics of the volunteer dress code will be provided during the volunteer orientation meeting.
