Course Descriptions

RN Reentry Course
This course is designed to enable the registered nurse to meet the New Hampshire Board of Nursing re-entry requirement option of a board approved structured refresher course (NUR 403.01). The purpose of the course is to update the theoretical knowledge and clinical skills of the registered nurse who has not practiced nursing for the required 900 hours within the last four years. The program will focus on the safe and competent care of the patient through the utilization of the nursing process. The unique needs of the adult learner are recognized in the teaching methodologies and encourage the active involvement of the adult learner in the learning process with the facilitation of the faculty. Learning activities will include selected self-study modules, classroom presentations, case studies, laboratory modules, clinical practice and clinical conferences.  For more information, please contact Louise Cushing-Smith at 603.663.2057.
