Alyson Pitman Giles, FACHE
President and CEO



Alyson Pitman Giles, FACHE, is the President and Chief Executive Officer of CMC Healthcare System, which includes Catholic Medical Center, a 330-bed acute care hospital, the New England Heart Institute, and several subsidiaries including physician practices and an ambulatory surgery partnership with 30 surgeons. Prior to joining CMC, Ms. Giles was President and CEO of New London Hospital in New London, NH, and President of Lake Shore Hospital, a psychiatric hospital in Manchester, NH. Ms. Giles is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), is board certified in Healthcare Management, and served as the Regent for the State of New Hampshire for ACHE until 2003 and a Governor until 2006. She received her B.S. from Tufts University in 1977 and her M.S. from Southern New Hampshire University in 1988. She has served on numerous boards in New Hampshire including colleges, foundations, telecommunications, insurance and the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce. She was named New Hampshire’s "Most Remarkable Woman in Healthcare" in 2002 by New Hampshire Magazine, "Distinguished Citizen of the Year" for 2002 by the Daniel Webster Boy Scout Council and "NH Business Leader of the Year" in 2005 by Business NH Magazine. Ms. Giles was elected Chairman of the American College of Healthcare Executives in March 2007.
