Thomas Synan, MD, is Board certified in Internal Medicine. He received his medical degree from the University of Massachusetts School of Medicine and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at UMass Medical School. After residency, Dr. Synan practiced medicine at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland. Upon moving to New Hampshire, he practiced medicine at Bedford Internal Medicine and Medical Group of Manchester. In 2001, Dr. Synan co-founded Granite State Internal Medicine.

Philip Finocchiaro, MD, is Board certified in Internal Medicine. He received his medical degree from Georgetown University Medical School and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C. After residency, Dr. Finocchiaro worked as an inpatient physician at Fairfax Hospital in Virginia. Upon moving to New Hampshire, he became a practitioner at Medical Group of Manchester. Dr. Finocchiaro then co-founded Granite State Internal Medicine. He currently serves as Medical Director of Catholic Medical Center’s Obesity Treatment Center.

Shannon Duclos, ARNP-BC, MS, is a Board-certified nurse practitioner. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Rivier College in 2001 and her Master of Science degree from Rivier College in 2006. Shannon worked as an RN in long-term care and sub-acute rehabilitation for eight years. After receiving her nurse practitioner degree, Shannon transitioned to Granite State Internal Medicine as an ARNP in Internal Medicine.

Monica Ball, PA-C, has a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. In her Physician Assistant training, Monica completed internships in Emergency Medicine, Psychiatric Services, Primary Care, Women’s Health and Surgical. In addition to her work at Granite State Internal Medicine, Monica will be providing post-operative care to bariatric surgery patients at Catholic Medical Center’s Obesity Treatment Center. |
