The Ultrasound Department at Catholic Medical Center is accredited by the American College of Radiology in General, OBS and Vascular Ultrasound.
We have state-of the-art equipment, and two new Acuson Sequoias with all the special features such as Freestyle, Color Doppler, Doppler and 3-D imaging.
The greatest assets of our department are our compassionate and conscientious ultrasonographers, with 15-25 years experience. We perform a wide range of exams from vascular, obstetrical, gynecological and abdominal studies, breast, testicular and prostate. Ultrasound is also utilized for guidance during many procedures such as biopsies, paracentesis and thoracentesis.
