Catholic Medical Center works as a partner and collaborates with the Manchester School District. Catholic Medical Center's staff offers programs that help the community's school children develop life-long healthy lifestyle skills to become productive adult citizens and parents of tomorrow.
In addition to a variety of collaborative efforts on the district level, Community Health Services maintains these partnerships:
- Parker Varney Elementary School – We provide a kindergarten through fifth-grade health curriculum covering aspects on the importance of physical activity, making nutritious food choices and healthy lifestyle decisions.
- Parkside Middle School - We enhance the health curriculum of the school by providing educational forums on healthy lifestyle choices, diversity and career development, as well as many other topics. Additionally, we assist staff and students with the Community of Caring Program by offering assistance in implementing certain identified educational needs.
- West High School - We provide health-related forums on subject areas identified by the students. Topics have focused on career development, decision-making and healthy lifestyle choices.
