The Work You Want, When You Want It
Looking for great pay and flexible hours in a dynamic health care setting? If you are an experienced RN or LNA, consider joining Catholic Medical Center’s Float Pool, a hospital-wide internal Nursing Float Pool that has been organized to enhance staffing and effectively meet patient care needs, shifts and volume.

Float Pool services provide flexible schedules and premium rates of pay for experienced RNs and LNAs. Float Pool staff will fill in for pre-existing shifts, as well as “call-out” shift vacancies, giving RNs and LNAs the added flexibility of floating between different departments, filling in on both long-term and short-term assignments.

Float Pool staff are expected to work on a per-diem, or as needed, basis. All staff who join the pool will receive the premium rates of pay listed below (benefits do not apply to Float Pool staff):

Eligibility
  • Two years of hospital clinical experience in a health care organization within the past three years for RNs.
  • One year of hospital clinical experience in a health care organization within the past two years for LNAs.
  • Current NH registered nurse license
  • Current NH licensed nursing assistant license.
Work Requirements
  • Current CPR Certification
  • Hospital and nursing-specific orientation which may include a competency assessment for each unit (length of orientation will be individualized, based upon experience).
  • No time commitment required. 
  • Shifts available in 4, 8 and 12-hour blocks. 
  • Annual evaluations.
