Janet Maher, RN, Program Director of the Breast Care Center, manages, supervises, supports and coordinates the services of the Breast Care program at CMC. She is a registered nurse with over 23 years of nursing and patient care experience. She was a staff nurse on CMC’s Murphy Unit from 1985-1991. She has been a certified breast health specialist for over 10 years. Janet received her nursing degree from Catholic Medical Center in 1983 and substantial training at MD Anderson Cancer Center. She has extensive background in medical and surgical oncology nursing.

The Breast Care Center at Catholic Medical Center offers women a multi-disciplinary team of specialists to guide them in their care and treatment. Medical care options are jointly discussed by women, their primary care physicians and our team of specialists. The Breast Care Center at Catholic Medical Center works closely with radiologists, technologists, surgeons, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists and reconstructive surgeons to facilitate the best care options available.
